Hepatobiliary surgical oncology

Our Hepatobiliary Surgical Oncology Department specializes in the surgical treatment of liver, bile duct, and gallbladder cancers with advanced techniques. We perform liver resections (hepatectomy) and bile duct resections with reconstruction for comprehensive cancer care. Our experts are skilled in gallbladder cancer surgery and provide portal vein embolization to prepare the liver for resection. With robotic-assisted hepatic surgery and ablative therapies like microwave and radiofrequency ablation, we offer minimally invasive solutions for tumor management. We also provide liver transplant evaluation and coordination for eligible patients and perform complex surgeries like pancreaticoduodenectomy (Whipple procedure). Additionally, we offer hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy pump placement and surgical management of liver metastases to optimize outcomes for cancer patients.
